“I agree about McCain not supporting the Children’s Health Insurance Program…it’s shameful. As a parent of a chronically ill child, I can tell you that in 2001 my spouse and I were both laid off our jobs and had no insurance for our child. Without the CHIP program we would have gone bankrupt paying medical bills. We have insurance now, but I still am a strong supporter of CHIP and those like Obama who support it. He gets it that our kids health is so important.”
