He’s mad? He doesn’t want to see me pissed. I’ve lost about 60% of my 401K during this little crisis that McCain didn’t know about. And some mad man gets up and says he’s mad that a Socialist is taking over our country? Is he for real? My home used to be valued at 250,000, now it’s only worth 120,000. My party has not done a thing to help me or my family or my business. I’ve done nothing but work my butt off for the last 30 years of my life to come to this. I dont’ need any jerk lecturing me about being a patriot. I served my country in two wars. So screw anyone who wants to rub that into my face. So I’m mad and I want change. The voters are mad at Bush and McCain. We have to remember who got us in this mess. It wasn’t Obama. It was Bush and the Fed’s.

I agree. He should point that anger at President Bush. No one should be angry with Senator Obama. He was not responsible for our economic crisis. Bush and his cohorts are to blame. If anything happens to Senator Obama, then we will see a lot of real anger. Not made up.

Let’s hope and pray for a peaceful transition and a sound election. God Bless.

Why President Bush? It has ALREADY been proven that Congress failed to act NOT Bush.

It has already been proven that in the past 2 years the economy has sunk as a result of Congress, NOT BUSH.

People show their ignorance when they post on blogs here. Do your research people! It is not Bush, it is Congress. Who is in control of Congress..within the last two years? DEMS! Everything points to the last two years. There is video of those that are in control of Congress showing their ignorance of not wanting to recognize the problem, and they failed to act.

Now, everyone is wanting to point fingers at Bush. BULL! LIES!!

Check you Party at the door, do your research, and the truth shall set you free. Obama and his friends in Congress is AT FAULT! They set us all up, and they tanked the economy to win the election. SHAMEFUL!!!!! The proof is in the pudding. Go check out the votes, go check out the programs, go check out the earmarks!!!!

    Mardy-
Your actions on this blog replicate how overzealous McCain supporters have portrayed themselves to the world and to the media. That is why Sen. McCain is losing. He is losing to a man of class and of dignity. While Sen. McCain lost his cool, Sen. Obama displayed his leadership ability.

    Thank you.

Do you seriously think that by raising taxes on the employers of America is going help us get out of this Recession? My church just layed off 8 people because they can not afford to keep them. I have friends who have been looking for jobs for over six months but no one is hiring.

How do you think raising taxes on big or small corporations is going to help us find jobs or create jobs?

Before you vote for Obama, you better be prepared to sacrifice your job because when he enters the office…JOBS WILL BE CUT

    Jacky-

Like many small Corporations in American I do not make over $250,000 a year. So I will not be affected if that trend continues. Also, I would like to point out that your area job loss is a spot on argument for those of us who realize who created this mess. It was the policies of the Bush Admin. who caused this to happen. A President should know that he or she cannot fight two protracted wars and expect to have a thriving economy at home. And Jacky, you have to remember something. Sen. McCain supported all of those policies that led to us having a recession in the first place. In fact, McCain was so sure that our economy was strong, that about 3-4 weeks ago he made a televised statement and I quote, “…our economy I think, still , fundamentals of our economy are strong…”.
So I will break down his statement. What exactly are fundamentals? Fundamentals of our economy could represent a lot of areas, most specifically, growth, revenue and earnings. The problem with that is our economy is not growing. And there are multiple of companies failing. Remember Lehman Brothers? A 150 year old corporation. And look at stock prices. Look at loss of jobs. The jobs in your own local area. This is a mess. And to think there are people actually willing to vote for Sen. McCain based on economics? Amazing. Sen. Obama’s plan is to create more jobs. To protect the middle class and to grow the economy. You can read more about his platform at his webiste. http://www.barackobama.com .
And our economy is not strong. Like our current President, it is weak. Thank you for your comment.

I am sorry but I am not qualified nor do I want to work for an energy producing plant. I am not in social services and I am not a teacher. I do not see how he is going to create an jobs outside of those three. Can I ask you as a business owner…If you are paying higher taxes in this already unstable economy are you going to lay off any employees? Do you have employees to lay off? I know that my employer and many others already plan to lay off some folks.

First of all, I wan to thank you for your comments. You have to remember, you are talking about layoffs in the present sense. When you consider how much our wars are costing our country, our President for the last 8 years is responsible for this mess. Sen. Obama cannot be blamed for what the President has done. Since Sen. Obama voted against many of the issues that President Bush supported, such as, the Iraq war. He cannot be held accountable. However, Sen. McCain has supported President Bush on funding the Iraq war and everything else in between. We really do need change and this is coming from a former Reagan Republican. I get sick of hearing how everyone else should have tweaked their business or develop a better plan and those who are mega rich want us to quit blaming the President. Sorry, but I am going to blame the person who is most responsible for our economy being in the shape it’s in. He lost his focus on Bin Laden and he lost his mind on managing our economy.

President Bush did not make a mistake in going to War against those who flew into the Twin Towers, Pentagon or the fields of P A. Blaming Bush for what is the ineptness of Clinton who did nothing about the 1993 attack on the U.N and who spent more time playing”intern” and knew of the where-abouts of bin Laden and did NOTHING is the one to blame. Going to War against the terrorists costs MONEY but that had nothing to do with the Democrat Congress (whose standing is lower than Bush’s) refusing to take stock of what Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were doing with the loans to people who could not pay them back and they knew it….it was a train wreck coming and they ignored it! John McCain did try to get this out in front in 2005 and the Democrats shot him down over it!!!!!

Liberal, hateful remarks about Pres. Bush are predictable and ignorant of the facts but then they don’t let that stand in the way of their version of the truth. But, by the way, how many terror attacks have we had in the U.S. since 2001?? ‘Cowboy’ policy must work, huh?

  • obamasprayer // November 2, 2008 at 7:20 pm

I agree, that Cowboy policy sure did work to help ruin our economy. Home prices have been cut in half. Holders of 401k’s have lost thousands of hard earned dollars. Folks in their late 60s are having to work full time again for lost savings. A person would have to have a heart as cold as deep space to ignore what has happen to the American people. And what about business? Look at what happen to large corporations across America, closing and laying off workers. All because of that cowboy policy you love to brag about. And what about Bin Laden? It was Sen. Obama who was the first to say that he would go after him along the Pakistan border. Only to get attacked from both sides for making such a statement. Now Bush is trying to do it before Obama gets elected. He knows Obama will find Osama. I realize you probably get paid to do what you do and if you really believe in McCain then I feel sorry for you. How can you ignore everything that has went wrong in our country? How can live with yourself knowing all of us? Are you deluding yourself? I just don’t understand how some people can sit back and not care. It’s time for change. If I’m a liberal for caring for my fellow Americans, then so be it. I have more respect for that definition of a liberal than for a conservative who only looks out for his or her wallet.
